Josh Landis, National Managing Director

Josh is a high energy problem solver who shares insight and know-how from his 20+ years experience in government, not-for-profits and the corporate sector. In recognition of his consistent professionalism and leadership he was appointed CEO for Clubs NSW and Clubs Australia, which made him directly responsible for 75 staff and indirectly for 140,000 club workers across over 4,000 sites. As CEO he was responsible for leading successful regulatory reforms with Labor and Coalition governments, at state and federal levels.

Prior to his time with clubs he worked as a lawyer, ran the Jewish community’s national peak body and served as a Ministerial advisor in the NSW Government.

As National Managing Director for Horizon GR, he provides clients with expert government relations counsel, campaign management, communications and strategic advice.

Josh has helped secure election platforms from the NSW and federal Coalition parties and the NSW Labor party, has participated in numerous commercial tenders and government re-licensing processes, run campaigns at local, state and federal levels, given over 1,000 media interviews and he has achieved valuable commercial outcomes by leading teams of experts through complex and highly contentious issues.

His approach is based on quality research, analysis, planning, listening and teamwork. Josh works with clients to determine strategic goals, then brings the executive experience and character to navigate corporate and public service bureaucracy and align disparate stakeholder groups. His skill set ensures clients benefit from strong advocacy that cuts through competing agendas to achieve the results they want.
